4. Wound cleaning and debridement – KR

Practical session:

1. Introduction (5min) – AM

2. Suturing demonstration (15min) – Simple sutures – KR

3. Practice time (45 min)

4. Suturing demonstration (15min) – Mattress sutures – KR

5. Practice time (45min)

6. Basic haemostasis technique (15mins) – KR

8. Tips on Wound edge alignment and facial laceration suturing (10 mins) – KR

1. Simple laceration

2. Complex laceration (ragged edge) with contamination

3. Scalp laceration

4. Bleeding wound

5. Hand injury

6. Compound fracture

7. Facial injury
