Dr. Chaminda Egodage

Chaminda Egodage calls himself an accidental emergency physician. Hailing from Homagama in Sri Lanka, he graduated from the University of Colombo’s medical faculty and worked in Obstetrics & Gynaecology for the first half of his career. Subsequently settling down in Sydney’s Southwest, he joined emergency training because it was satisfying to deal with a wider variety of clinical challenges complete with an adrenalin rush. He has since completed his training as a Specialist in Emergency Medicine, now works in Campbelltown Hospital where he feels very much at home among many other Sri Lankan Emergency Docs.
