Dr Giles Cattermole MA FRCEM DTM&H
Giles graduated from Oxford in 1995, and trained in Emergency Medicine in Wales. He is now an EM Consultant in London, and chairs the Global EM Committee at the Royal College of Emergency Medicine. He has lived and worked in Hong Kong and Rwanda, and has taught trauma or emergency courses in many countries in Africa and Asia. He currently holds honorary associate professorships at the Chinese
University of Hong Kong and the University of Rwanda, and is honorary senior lecturer at Queen Mary University of London. Research interests include non-invasive haemodynamic monitoring and paediatric resuscitation. Giles also holds degrees in physiology, ethics, and theology. He is married, has four children, and spends too much spare time solving crosswords or playing boardgames.
